WILD FIG & EVERGREEN shaving soap is made using our vegan formula offering the same excellent lather, cushion, and slickness that our customers receive with our tallow soap. We wanted our vegan's performance to on par with our tallow, and we are told the vegan formula is hard to distinguish from the tallow. Wet shavers can now select their shave soap of choice in either tallow or vegan with the confidence they will receive the same excellent performance they have come to expect of our tallow soap.

The scent profile of this fragrant WILD FIG & EVERGREEN blend is a twist on a traditional fig scent. It's much more. Actually, Wild Fig & Evergreen came about one early Fall when we ventured on a day-long hike. There was no particular agenda for the day. We stopped as we neared the forest's edge, closed our eyes, and took in the many scents of the forest... fragrant evergreens, twigs, and all. Moving on, we soon discovered wild figs in a clearing and picked enough to fill our basket. Taking a break around midday, we sat on an old friendship quilt we'd brought along and silently gazed in awe of the beauty of the distant mountains and nearby woodlands. We poured ourselves a steaming cup of coffee infused with fresh cinnamon dust. For a snack, we shared wedges of sweet apples, then savored the taste of some homemade gingered lemon chews and caramel drops. The evening's cooler weather was coming as the sun lowered in the sky, so we headed back toward the cabin. Carrying our basket of figs, we quietly reminisced of a near-perfect day. Somehow the fragrant smells we'd enjoyed seemed to marinate nicely in our memories. Who'd imagine all of those scents would blend so well together? We wrote them down, planned to recreate them. We named those scents of the day "Wild Fig & Evergreen."
