ETHOS GROOMING ESSENTIALS

The Standard, or S Base Shave Soap, is an updated version of the base that ETHOS has been using since launching our very first shave soap. The updated version,  identified on the side label of the package, is noticeably firmer and can be scooped out easily and lathered in a shaving bowl or loaded right from the jar onto your shaving brush. When loading your shave brush, a light touch is recommended to avoid removing more shave soap than needed.

Succès Shave soap contains the Pineapple Noir aroma blend with is a Pineapple forward scent with a light, clean smoky dry down and makes for the start of a great shave experience, especially when followed by both Succès Skin Food Splash and the EDP. The shave soap has a nice light feeling to it on the face that provides great cushion, slickness, and post-shave. Like most ETHOS Grooming Essential products, the soap contains our proprietary EOS Complex, which means Earth • Ocean • Science. This unique blend of 36 luxurious, exotic, and beneficial skincare ingredients and other soap ingredients will enhance the skin's overall condition and feel with continuous use.

Usage

Ethos Shave Soaps are easy to lather, and just a small amount is needed to bring you a rich yogurt-like. Often described as feeling light on the face, the lather tends to be a little thirsty so add water a little at a time until the desired lather is achieved. Our shave soaps work well using all types of shaving brushes. We recommend scoping out some shave soap from the jar and bowl lathering as this soap is more on the soft side. Although we realize loading from the jar is very popular, we'd like to inform our customers that we believe by adding water to any ETHOS shave soap jar is counterproductive to our curing process where we try to eliminate as much of the water/moisture out of our soaps as possible. If you still choose to load directly from the jar, it is your choice. If you do, we recommend starting with a damp brush and turn the jar completely upside down. Then begin to swirl your brush very lightly until loaded. Apply to a wet face, swirl the brush for about 30 seconds and then begin to paint the lather on painting WTG, XTG, and ATG until you get a nice non-translucent coating of rich, creamy lather for optimum shave results.
