A Word from The Golden Age Wet Shaver
For Jason Miller, known throughout the wet shaving community as The Golden Age Wet Shaver, traditional wet shaving became much more than a daily grooming routine.
His journey began in 2022 after discovering an inexpensive butterfly safety razor at a dollar store. A challenging first shave sent him to YouTube in search of better technique. Before long, he had purchased his first shaving brush and several soaps, beginning a journey into traditional wet shaving that would have a lasting impact on his life.
Over the following years, Jason discovered more than a hobby. He found a community that encouraged him, helped him build confidence, improve his shaving technique, and step outside his comfort zone through videos and live shaves. Those experiences eventually inspired him to help and encourage others who may be facing struggles of their own.
Today, his mission is to show that wet shaving can be more than a daily routine. It can provide a moment for mindfulness, connection, friendship, and hope. If his content can make someone smile or remind them that they are not alone, he considers every shave worthwhile.
When John from Heritage Hill Shave Company approached Jason about creating this collaboration, The Golden Age Wet Shaver became a celebration of the journey that brought him here and a reminder that everyone can find their own Golden Age.
