The knot and the synthetic brush material feels just like a Simpsons Chubby Synthetic (the good kind before they split the synthetic lines into Sovereign and Platinum) so it is comfortable and has a great backbone. The handle design is great for someone like me that uses lather off soap pucks from a bowl. Spreads pretty good for a good face lathering as well.

However, one thing worries me that the shedding hasn't stopped. I expect them to lose 5-8 fibers from the initial lather as it is the same with Simpsons' Synthetic brushes. However, Alpha's knot seems like there's always 1-2 fibers every other time I use it. Dunno if this will last any longer.
