When the original Sidama fragrance was completed, its unique portrayal of natural process Ethiopian coffee impressed with its complexity and strong sense of place. Its grassy, earthy character combined with a boozy richness earned recognition as a finalist in the 2023 Art and Olfaction Awards.

Sidama X reimagines that foundation with a chocolate-forward, semi-gourmand composition inspired by xocolatl, the ancient Aztec drinking chocolate crafted from fermented cacao and warming spices. The coffee notes have been softened while the boozy character is enhanced, allowing decadent dark chocolate and chili pepper to take center stage. Resinous benzoin replaces vanilla, creating a fragrance that is rich, spicy, woody, slightly sweet, and beautifully balanced.

Directions for Use

Wet your shaving brush thoroughly. Load the brush on the soap for approximately 30 seconds or until a rich, creamy lather begins to form. Build the lather on your face or in a shaving bowl, adding water gradually until you achieve a dense, low-structure foam. Shave using light pressure, rinse thoroughly, and finish with your preferred aftershave.
