I purchased the Henson AL13 Mild razor with my own money after being impressed by several reviews from OhioShaves. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product; however, I can’t help but feel that I would have been happier with the Medium version instead. I've been using it for a week now. I like the feel of it. The weight is good. And the shave is smooth. Nothing negative to say at all.
The first Hanson razor did not cut anything they did a great improvement with this one and you twist the dial a quarter turn and get different aggression as long as you have a washer in between the head and stem

I wish I had purchased the Henson medium as my first safety razor when I began traditional shaving a year ago. It is still the only razor I own that shaves my most sensitive areas (like underarms) safely without discomfort. I have numerous razors now and I own the Henson in aluminum and titanium, aggressive and medium. With smooth rounded machining, a low profile head, and thankfully now some handle length choices (Amazon), the Henson is a winner for me.
