September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.  A month dedicated to bringing awareness to this often ignored and stigmatized subject.  We hope this project will raise awareness and spark a conversation surrounding the importance of suicide prevention awareness along with mental health and wellness.

Unlike many causes of death, Suicide can be prevented.  We can work together to ease the suffering of those within our reach. Suicide prevention is truly a community effort that requires friends, families, co-workers, and community members to work together.  Our most valuable resource is each-other.

Our message is simple and profound; You are not alone.  If you are thinking about suicide or are concerned about someone else, don’t stay silent.  Help is available 24/7 to talk, answer questions, and assist you in navigating challenging situations.  Help is within reach!

Suicide prevention is a critical issue that affects every community, age group, and demographic. Never Alone is a phrase that carries a lot of weight when said to someone who needs to hear it. It gives hope letting someone know that you are there for them. It gives comfort knowing that someone understands their pain. It lifts the spirit knowing that someone loves them. It gives purpose knowing they have someone who believes their life matters. Never Alone means there is always a hand to hold and a voice to remind them that their story is not over. It means that in their darkest nights there will always be a light carried by another person willing to walk beside them.
Never Alone reminds us that we were never created to carry our pain in silence.
When we say Never Alone we remind those who struggle that they are part of a community that sees them, values them, and loves them. And so to anyone who is hurting today let these words echo within you: you are never forgotten, you are never abandoned, and you are never alone.
