Adamastor draws inspiration from the legendary figure in the Portuguese epic “The Lusiads.” This character symbolizes the challenges faced by the early explorers who sought to circumnavigate Africa. The fragrance honors their courage and the timeless relationship between humanity and nature.
The opening is marked by slightly sweet and green notes of Rhubarb and Melon, reflecting the crisp air near the coastline. Sea Salt is present throughout, steady and powerful, mirroring the ocean stretching toward the horizon. The dry down introduces Damp Earth and Cut Grass, capturing the landscapes surrounding the sea. Vetiver serves as the backbone of the composition, adding depth, structure, and an earthbound strength.
The Nirvana Soap Base represents a refined evolution of WestMan’s original formula. It improves lather consistency, slickness, density, and post shave comfort through carefully chosen ingredients. The base incorporates broccoli seed oil for fast absorption, dimethicone for improved glide, and increased kokum and mango butter for a denser, shinier lather. Added skin loving components include tallow, lanolin, jojoba oil, avocado oil, goat milk, and more. The result is a beautifully balanced soap designed for an elevated shaving experience.
Directions for Use
Use a damp brush and load the soap for thirty to sixty seconds depending on brush stiffness. Create a dense paste on the brush tips, adding a few drops of water to the soap surface if needed. Apply the paste to the shave area and build your lather by adding small amounts of water to the brush while using circular and painting motions. Continue adjusting hydration until the desired thickness and sheen are achieved. After use, rinse the surface of the soap and allow it to dry before closing the lid.
The Nirvana Soap Base
The Nirvana soap base is nothing but a natural evolution of Westman's original soap base and what we learned from the old formula. The modifications result in greater rentability, improved lather consistency, slickness, as well as a comfortable, skin-loving post-shave feel.
Changes include new ingredients such as broccoli seed oil instead of apricot kernel oil for better absorption by the skin. The inclusion of dimethicone due to its excellent lubricating properties. In addition, the simplification of the formula, which contains fewer saponified fats, allows us to increase the concentration of the really important fats such as kokum butter and mango butter to obtain a denser and shinier lather. Other key ingredients include tallow, lanolin, jojoba oil, avocado oil and many more.
