These strops are specially designed and made to partner with a JJ Shorty razor. They are 1/3 smaller (2”x14”) than a full size strop (3”x21”) to allow for the perfect alignment with a JJ Shorty razor.
The need for a high quality strop for new to straight shavers was required as much as the straight razor. By reducing the size of the strop we were able to cut more strops from a piece of leather, which reduced overall costs. In the same way a JJ Shorty allows you to sample JJ’s edge and standards of work a JJ Shorty strop allows you to sample Boaby G’s products.
