The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline provides free and confidential support to people experiencing suicidal crisis, mental health-related distress, or emotional distress across the United States. By calling or texting 988, individuals can connect with trained crisis counselors who provide support and help connect them with additional resources when needed.

The Canadian Mental Health Association is one of Canada's oldest voluntary mental health organizations. Alliance of Hope provides compassionate support to people who have lost loved ones to suicide. The organization helps suicide loss survivors navigate the difficult aftermath of loss, connect with others who understand their experience, and move toward healing and meaningful lives.
