I've had a lot of high end razors over the years, but I kept going back to my Merkur 34c. This is everything I've been looking for in a razor, slightly more aggressive and really great build quality. Photo from a recent product photo I did using the GOAT as a prop
I've tried it a few times .ive used the merkur equivalent..it shaves close but you really have to focus on what you are doing..pay attention to pressure applied angel of shaving head ...pre shave key to the whole thing...its both a joy and a chore..if you want to take the time it can be fun..if you want a one and done maybe this isnt for you....but the razor seems ok..nothings to write home about..well made. good price point but nothing spectacular..im sure others may disagree..give it a shot..everyone has their own perspective...
Very nice razor! Quality! Expect to last. Smooth shave. I use Gillette Nacet stainless steel blades in it and you couldn’t find a smoother shave for the money spent. Love it!
